Lyrics & Stanzas
4 portions
Verse 1
We are the branches, the Lord is the vine; We cannot stand alone. Abide in His words and the strength we will find. Glory to God is shown.
Verse 2
Follow the Spirit, the blessings will come, love, peace and righteousness. True joy can be found if you're willing to shun works of the sinful flesh.
Verse 3
Satan is warring to pull us all down, wages of death to pay. But follow the Spirit and you will have found life on Salvation's Day.
Chorus
The fruit (Fruit of the Spirit,) of the Spirit brings joy to my soul, (Fruit of the Spirit brings joy to my soul, Joy to my soul.) The fruit (fruit of the Spirit,) of the Spirit (fruit of the Spirit is, is how) is how we may know That Christ (Christ is within us) is within us, (Christ is within us, He's showing the way, Showing the way.) He's showing the way. Eternal life He will give us, We'll harvest the fruit on that day.
