Lyrics & Stanzas

Verse 1
Threat'ning storms and tempests may sweep o'er my soul But I dread not the fearful shock; I am trusting in the everlasting God, I am standing on the solid Rock.
Verse 2
Doubts and fears may rise to shake my feeble faith, And temptation my soul assail; But I stand securely on the Solid Rock, And they never, never can prevail.
Verse 3
What have I to fear tho wild the billows roll? God is ruler of wind and wave; While my feet are planted on the Solid Rock, Ev'ry threat'ning peril I can brave.
Verse 4
I am safe while hiding in my Savior's side, sheltered in His almighty arm; Anchored to the Rock of Ages I'm secure, God will shield me from all ill and harm.
Chorus
I am standing, standing, I'm standing on the Rock of Ages, I am standing, standing, I'm standing on the Solid Rock.
Coda
Amen.
