22238. HE'LL WIPE ALL TEARS AWAY
Lyrics & Stanzas
4 portions
Verse 1
As day by day I journey, I’m weary oft and worn; But to my heart a message On wings of love is borne: It tells me there is coming A bright and happy day, When God, my heav’nly Father, Will wipe all tears away.
Verse 2
Tho’ many disappointments Around my path may fall, I’ll call them “His appointments,” For He is ruling all; He notes the smallest sparrow, He hears His children pray, And by and by in mercy, He’ll wipe all tears away.
Verse 3
Look up, ye heavy hearted, Look up and trust your King; His dear ones are protected Beneath His shelt’ring wing; Tho’ dark the clouds may gather, He’ll send the sun’s glad ray, And in His Word He tells us He’ll wipe all tears away.
Chorus
He’ll wipe all tears away, (He will wipe all tears away,) He’ll wipe all tears away; (Yes, He will wipe all tears away;) Our kind and loving Father will wipe all tears away; (Will wipe all tears away;) He’ll wipe all tears away, (He will wipe all tears away,) He’ll wipe all tears away; (Yes He will wipe all tears away;) Our kind and loving Father Will wipe all tears away.
