歌词与诗节
4 段
Verse 1
'Tis my happiness below, Not to live without the cross; But the Savior's pow'r to know, Sanctifying ev'ry loss.
Verse 2
Trials must and will befall; But, with humble faith, to see Love inscribed upon them all— This is happiness to me.
Verse 3
Trials make the promise sweet; Trials give new life to prayer; Trials bring me to His feet, Lay me low, and keep me there.
Chorus
Open my heart, Live in my soul, Light up my eyes with a heavenly glow; Lord, cleanse my mind, Fill me, I pray, Open my heart till I meet You some day.
