21928. LIGHT OF THE WORLD
Lyrics & Stanzas
4 portions
Verse 1
My Lord is the light of the world. The shadows soon fade and the darkness is gone When the light of my Lord is unfurled.
Verse 2
My Lord shines His light upon me. My burdens are lifted and joy fills my soul. From my sin I'm delivered, I'm free.
Verse 3
So open your heart to the Light. The gates are now open, He bids you come in To His glory, so radiant, so bright.
Chorus
A lamp unto my feet is the glory of the Lord. He leads me thru each storm along the way. I rise from the shadows of a dark, sinful world. In Him I'll not fear, I'll not stray.
