Letra e Estrofes
4 partes
Verse 1
Come, your plea prepare; God will answer prayer. He has bid you pray: Therefore will not turn away. Come, my soul, your plea prepare; God the Father answers prayer. He Himself has bid you pray: Therefore will not turn away.
Verse 2
You come to a King; Large petitions bring. For His pow’rs are such: None can ever ask too much. You are coming to a King; Therefore large petitions bring. For His grace and pow’rs are such: None can ever ask too much.
Verse 3
Lord, I come for rest; Dwell with-in my breast. There Thy right maintain, And without a rival reign. Lord, to Thee I come for rest; Dwell forever in my breast. There Thy blood-bought right maintain, And with-out a rival reign.
Verse 4
While a pilgrim here, Let my spirit cheer. As my Guide and Friend, Lead me to my journey’s end. While I am a pilgrim here, Let Thy love my spirit cheer. As my Guard, my Guide and Friend, Lead me to my journey’s end.
