全 5 節
Verse 1
Brother, what of the seed you are sowing, As along (As along) the way you go? (the way you go?) You should choose them with carefulness, knowing, You shall reap (You shall reap) just what you sow.
Verse 2
Do you sow to the flesh or the spirit, As you tread (As you tread) this vale below? (this vale below?) Do you hope endless joys to inherit? You shall reap (You shall reap) just what you sow.
Verse 3
Thot's and words for a harvest you're sowing, Into deeds (Into deeds) they'll surely grow; (they’ll surely grow;) Either blessings or curses bestowing, You shall reap (You shall reap) just what you sow.
Verse 4
Is your sowing for glory and honor? Will it be (Will it be) for weal or woe? (for weal or woe?) By and by when your harvest you garner, You shall reap (You shall reap) just what you sow.
Chorus
You shall reap (You shall reap) what you sow, (what you sow,) You shall reap (You shall reap) just what you sow; (what you sow;) Oh, "be not deceived, for God is not mocked," You shall reap (You shall reap) just what you sow.
