22048. HELP ME THINK OF HEAVEN
Lyrics & Stanzas
4 portions
Verse 1
God, help me think of heaven, I need that anchor for my soul, When my burdens get so heavy And temptation takes its toll; With more faith I know I'll make it, it, With more hope I can obey, And I find it in the promise, No more heartbreak or decay.
Verse 2
Lord, help me think of heaven, That's why You bled for me and died. Thru Your blood I find forgiveness, Now from God I need not hide. From this earth You went to heaven, Me a mansion to prepare. I know some day You're returning, I know You will take me there.
Verse 3
Brother, help me think of heaven. Don't let the Devil keep us out. Sister, help me think of heaven, Help me chase away all doubt. Let's encourage one another, Speak of heaven all the time; Hand in hand let's go together, Heaven's gates are open wide. wide.
Coda
I want to see those pearly gates, And walk the streets of gold, I want to see my mansion there,I want to meet the saints of old. There we will find the tree of life Enjoy the promised rest. Then gathered 'round the glorious throne, We will see God face to face.
