22057. COME TASTE AND SAVOR
Lyrics & Stanzas
5 portions
Verse 1
God's children feasted on manna's buffet, As furnished each step of the way. Sweeter than honey, was God's care each day; They tasted and savored His grace.
Verse 2
God's children entered the long-foretold strand, As guided by God's mighty hand, Sweeter were honey and milk of the land; They tasted and savored His grace.
Verse 3
God's Word sustains us as we journey here; Supplying us milk, pure and dear. Sweeter than honey is Jesus, so near; Come taste; you can savor His grace.
Verse 4
God's Son, the Word, will soon give us a place; Our thirst quenched, we've finished the race. Sweeter than honey is His warm embrace: Come taste; you can savor His grace.
Chorus
Come taste and savor how good is the Lord; Be filled with the milk of His Word. Sweeter than honey, the message is heard: Come taste; you can savor His grace.
