Verse 1
Marvelous, wonderful, glorious grace, Poured out on Calvary, And there in the darkness of pain and woe, Suffered great agony on Calvary, Wounded and bruised on the cruel tree for lost sinful man, From portals of glory the Savior came, The mighty gulf did span.
Verse 2
He leadeth me safely o’er troubled sea, Speaks peace to hearts, be still, He lifted my burden, my sin and shame, With love my soul did fill at Calvary, Freely He gives, ‘tis for ev’ry one, God’s salvation plan, Redemption’s old story, go tell the news In ev’ry clime and land.
Verse 3
I walk with the Master, He walks with me, By waters quiet and still, His riches and blessings my heart doth know, Sharing His gracious will at Calvary, Leading to glory and some glad day in that better land, I’ll sing the sweet story, redeemed by grace, Salvation’s wondrous plan.
Chorus
Marvelous grace, (Marvelous grace,) Infinite love, (Infinite love,) Wonderful grace sent from above, Died on the tree (Died on the tree) To set men free (To set men free,) for you and me on Calvary; Redeeming love, (Redeeming love,) Pardon for me, (Pardon for me.)
