22244. WHISPERING HOPE
Lyrics & Stanzas
5 portions
Verse 1
There's light in the valley of shadows, No longer the darkness I fear; For Jesus is reigning in Glory,My strength and my light ever near.
Verse 2
There's hope for the sad and despondent, Who suffer in silence alone; Amid their bereavements and sorrow, O'ercome by the weight of their gloom.
Verse 3
There's joy for the wayward and lonely, Afar from their own native place; A home and a welcome are waiting, A father with sweet smiling face.
Verse 4
There's comfort and help for the dying, A rod and a staff for the way; A Guide who securely will lead them To realms of an uncloudy day.
Chorus
Then whispering hope, O how gentle thy voice; Making my heart In its sorrow rejoice. (Whispering hope, O, how gentle thy voice, Making my heart in its sorrow rejoice; Whispering hope, O, how gentle thy voice, Making my heart in its sorrow rejoice.)
